D’ailleurs, le film est presque aussi chiant que son soit-disant ‘héros’, lequel pourchasse un autre soit-disant justicier qui zigouille toutes les ordures de la ville sans se poser de questions… Le scénar sent clairement le nanar mal dégrossi et pédale sévèrement dans la semoule. Un héros de pacotille ni drôle, ni vraiment ‘héroïque », ni… vraiment anti-héros… L’impression qui prédomine est la suivante : il s’agit d’un tocard certes mais d’un tocard chiant comme la pluie.

A noter qu’on ne pige pas trop le soit-disant « pouvoir » du héros si ce n’est qu’il s’apparenterait à un « jour sans fin »… bien qu’il ne soit utilisé qu’au tout début du film ! allez comprendre… Une heure et quart plus tard, on est pas plus fixé sur son « pouvoir » mais ses méthodes et surtout sa mentalité nous l’on rendu antipathique ou au mieux… tout simplement creux. It’s up to the inevitable rogue cop and his partner to stop the outbreak. The authorities are overrun by crime until a masked avenger starts to eliminate the evil rich and powerful. The titular plague is one of lawlessness in the city of St Petersburg (which is beautifully presented).
